Our Agency Staffing service is designed for organisations that require Temporary Nursing and Health Care Staff to cover planned or unplanned Staff absences. Our flexible agency Staffing service is based on the central objective; that is to provide appropriately trained workers in a timely and cost effective manner and of a quality consistent with a Client’s own Nurses, Healthcare Staff.

Alpha Care & Support Services office hours are 8:00am to 7:00pm Monday to Saturday.  On Sundays and outside office hours we have a member of Staff on duty to deal with all of your queries 7 days a week. We do our best to deal with your request within 30 minutes of your call.

Our prices are extremely competitive, for example: the percentage of the Employee’s gross remuneration will be 18.5% for salaries up to £16,999 and 20% for salaries over £17,000 – this is negotiable!

Alpha Care & Support Services workers are experienced and must undergo Annual Mandatory Training. These courses are both theoretical and practical; they include Manual Handling & Transference, SOVA (abuse awareness), First Aid, Fire Safety, Food Hygiene, Infection Control, and Health and Safety.  Other courses such as Epilepsy, Administration of Medication, Managing Aggression/Challenging Behaviour and Violence, are made available to enhance our Staff performance and efficiency. 

The Nurses we supply or assign on placement are qualified and highly skilled; they also regularly attend Mandatory courses to update the areas related to their specialties as well as other professional courses or training.

All of our Health Care Workers have a minimum of NVQ 2 in Health &Social Care or are working towards it.  We encourage them to enroll in Colleges or Training Centres which offer free NVQ training in order to improve their Care giving skills and gain higher levels of NVQ qualifications.

Emergency Cover

We can help by:

  • Finding you Staff within 30 minutes; by using various methods of communication such as phone, text, and email to contact our Staff from our database of over 600 Nurses and Health Care Workers.*
  • Providing 24/7 Service, with a member of staff on duty to deal with your requests or queries during out of office hours.
  • Providing experienced qualified, reliable, compassionate and professional staff.
  • Allocating locally based Staff, to increase the speed of service as less time is taken traveling to work.

*If we cannot find suitable Staff in time, we will let you know before the 30 minutes is up, giving you more time to find an alternative solution.

Planned Cover

A lot of our Clients and Customers have a variety of Health Care Staffing needs; this can be due to sickness, emergencies, holidays, seasonal, specialist or geographical demand.

Our role as an Agency is to assist you by anticipating and planning for such variations.

Alpha Care & Support Services will work with you to predict, plan and co-ordinate your Staffing requirements. We offer a value for money service, which is a cost-effective solution to manage your specific Staff shortages.

Holidays and extended periods of absence such as maternity leave should not be a problem for you anymore. Our team of experienced Consultants can help you to plan in advance so that you can maintain the continuity of care to your Clients and Customers or Service Users throughout the year.

Agency Bank Management

With the experience of managing our own Care Bank Staff, our Resource Consultants and Resource Managers are able to set up and run your Staff Bank System for you.

All you need to do is:

  • Specify your Staffing requirements
  • Delegate the responsibility to our Resource Consultant Team
  • Monitor our performance and regularly give us your feedback

The advantage and benefit to you are that you will only be managing a contract and free from managing the entire service, giving you time to focus on other matters.

Alpha Care & Support Services not only recruit Temporary Personnel on behalf of Clients and Customers but also Permanent Personnel.
Over the past years, we have managed to successfully place Permanent Staff who are still working for those Clients and Customers up to the present time.
